Kurzmeldung: Google Health Data API
Google Health ist kein neuer Dienst – und keiner, der ganz frei von datenschutztechnischen Bedenken ist (siehe auch dieser Artikel).
Ich bin gerade zum ersten Mal auf die Google Health Data API gestossen.
Wenngleich die Speicherung von medizinischen Daten bei einem externen Anbieter bzw. Dienst m.E. sehr kritisch zu betrachten ist, so bleibt die API spannend. Mit ihr lassen sich Daten im Google Health Service speichern und von dort aus abrufen. Die kurze Eigendarstellung liest sich we folgt:
The Google Health Data API allows client applications to view and update Health content in the form of a Google Data API feed. Depending on the type of application you are developing (web or an installed application), your client can post new health data to a user’s profile, edit or delete entries, request a list of existing entries, and query for specific health data that match a certain criteria.
